Further from the Fludde

More outstanding pictures of Noye’s Fludde in Tewkesbury: This time, they are the work of Malcolm Pollock (see his blog HERE: http://malcolmpollock.wordpress.com/  or follow him on Twitter HERE: @mj_pollock).

Malcolm is a musician himself, so was a particularly sensitive photographer of this opera. These fabulous pictures are all his copyright, of course, and I’m grateful to him for allowing me to use them.

Meanwhile, a lovely review by the esteemed opera critic David Nice has appeared on that highly respected review site, The Art’s Desk. There are two pages and David is kind enough to review both Noye’s Fludde and the Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. About the Fludde, David said:

“The final protracted processional, all waving banners, bobbing heads and rushing exultation, was a Wagnerian vision I’ll never forget.”
