James returns to Saffron Hall to join the Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra for their annual Family Concert. Part of the Words in Walden literary festival, this spectacular presentation involves words, music and art, delivered live on stage from one the counties best concert halls.
This year Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition will be performed in the celebrated arrangement by Ravel – a magnificent representation of pictures in sound, from Baba-Yaga the witch, to Parisian gardens, and from ballet dancing eggs to old Italian castles, the much loved music has something for everyone.
All the art will be raffled for charity.
