With just over three weeks to go until the launch of the Katie Trail at the National Gallery in London, the trail is finished and at the printers. Meanwhile, after filling in all sorts of forms, the gallery have sent a small selection of pictures from the October half term workshops. Here’s one… this is me in the British gallery (you can just make out Whistlejacket’s front legs!) with a sea of people gathered. It was such an exciting week.
The launch of the trail will be a lot of fun as well. It’s on Wednesday 23rd February, starting at 2pm in the Education Centre (The Orange street entrance). My lovely co-author Caroline Marcus will join me in a tour of the gallery, telling stories about the pictures and answering questions. Numbers are strictly limited to 70, so please come early.
If you can’t make it in time, at 3.45 I’ll be off to the Sainsbury Wing bookshop to sign books, so you can come and find me then.
If you have old copies of Katie stories bring them along. Or if you have gaps in your collection, see if the gallery bookshop has that missing title!
Hope to see you there!
