A new season begins and booking is now open for two exciting October concerts, with stories, art and fabulous music.
First of all, on October 20th, I’ll be joining the Uttlesforde Orchestra in Saffron Walden for what I think will be our best concert to date: Spooky Tunes. I did something similar years ago in Hatfield, and it was just great.

As usual, I’ll be illustrating the stories in time to the music! Last year the concert sold out very quickly and lots of people were disappointed. And so this year there will be two concerts. They take place at 2pm and 4.30 pm in the Friends’ School Hall in Saffron Walden. So do please come along and join in our pre-Hallowe’en extravaganza! Then on October 27th I’ll be returning to Hatfield in Hertfordshire for a programme of English music by Britten and Arnold. We are celebrating Britten’s 100th birthday with my new illustrated-live version of his hugely popular Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, and filling up the programme with Arnold’s charming version of The Carnival of the Animals. It should be a lot of fun.
The concerts are again at 2pm and 4.30pm and take place in the Weston Auditorium on the de Havilland campus of the University of Hertfordshire.
