Many thanks to all at the de Havilland Philharmonic, conductor Robin Browning, the UH arts team and the St Albans Children’s Book Group… and all those who came to join in the fun today… Arnold’s hilarious Carnival of Animals was a great warm up for The Young Person’s Guide and both concerts whizzed by. The audience tittered, the orchestra giggled and the music was superbly performed. What a wonderful way to spend a day! Thank you all for your warm welcome and good spirits! It’s shaping up to be a legendary series; this is the 7th year. And for next year? wait and see…
Meanwhile, here are a few snaps of rehearsals and performances today.
