More beautiful books

And still they come: As more books, tucked away on my heaving bookshelves come to light, the wonderful Alice Wood, an exciting new star in the illustration world, and one of my most gifted students (and the loveliest person you could hope to meet), sent me a selection of little ballet books to add to my collection. They are gorgeous, thank you Alice.

The Rimsky-Korsakov book is slightly incongruous, but I love the cover and it is at least musical, if not balletic, in subject. He is my favourite composer and although he didn’t write ballets, several have been created out of his exotic and illustrative music, most famously Scheherazade and Le Coq d’Or (featured on the cover of this autobiography). Now then…can someone please tell me how on earth the ebook can possibly compete?
