Cheer from Cheltenham

A few weeks back a bout of Tonsillitis prevented me from appearing at the Cheltenham Literary Festival. Obviously I was disappointed, and so, it seems were the children of one particular school, Charlton Kings Junior. The children in class 3M have sent Get Well Soon cards, and they are delightful. I was so touched by both the pictures and the kind messages. I wonder if I will ever be able to go to Cheltenham and meet them? Life is full of unexpected introductions like this… that sometimes never come full circle. But who knows? Anyway, I have sent the class teacher Helen Morrison, a signed book and just in case they read this blog: Thank you all sincerely. It was a lovely gesture and I will treasure all the cards! (and I am fully recovered by the way!).
