Recent pursuits have led me a wonderful and magical shop in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, called Rosita Lollipop. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of Vintage fun and Retro glamour; a secret den full of Ella Bella’s very favourite things. If Madame Rosa wasn’t a ballet teacher, this is where she would have ended up!
Recently a runner up for an award for the Best Small Shop in Britain in the Telegraph Magazine, the world needs wonderful independent shops like this, and it’s time small businesses fought back against the big bullies!
The beautiful one-time operatic diva Jess Princeton is the embullient proprietess, and I am so thrilled and honoured that she has agreed to stock a selection of my books: ALL OF WHICH HAVE BEEN SIGNED.
Personally I’m delighted to have my own retro-styled books stocked alongside the Little Golden Books that Jess has on display. I couldn’t resist them, and with illustrators like Alice and Martin Provensen, you will fall in love with their classic charm too.
This is the ONLY shop I have this arrangement with in the whole of Hertfordshire, so if you want a signed book… or a unique gift, dash along to the shop and fall in love with… everything!

And if you are in North Hertfordshire, pop along to the store. You will be guaranteed a really warm and special welcome: this is shopkeeping as it used to be!
