Renaissance rehearsals!

Alas, an Easter lurgy has kept me at home in the warm, away from the rehearsals  at the Ashcroft theatre in Croydon, for the WORLD PREMIERE of Katie and the Mona Lisa

The play opens tomorrow! In my mind there are snippets of visions of how it will work. I have heard some of the songs by Robert Hainault. They are fabulous. I’ve met the cast – they are gorgeous! I’ve seen the model of the set – which looks charming. So I think… and hope… that something really special is about to happen.

I’ve been sent some photos from the rehearsals. It’s looks truly fabulous, and here you can see glipses of Karen Kennedy as Grandma and Hannah Lukas as Katie. You can see the dragon lurking in the wings! (where’s St. George when you need him!?) and Richard Robinson as the gallery guard… and the fabulous Lion of St. Mark!
What fun and thrills are in store for the lucky audience attending the show!

Now then… I really urge you to get yourself to Croydon to see this show. It’s rare that something comes along that celebrates art and music and story to this standard. There are ONLY 6 performances! Don’t delay – book now, take your kids, and open their eyes to the magic of art!
