Two by two…

Today is a doubly exciting day. It’s the final dress rehearsal for the world premiere of Katie and the Mona Lisa (see panels and pictures on the blog). It opens tomorrow.

Meanwhile TODAY public booking opens for the 2013 Cheltenham Music Festival.

As the guest director of the festival, I will be describing a lot of the forthcoming family events on my blog in great detail, including my own involvement with Benjamin Britten’s opera Noye’s Fludde, his young person’s “painted” guide to the orchestra, and Stravinsky’s Firebird.

But for now, take a look at the brochure and see for yourself: a sensational list of wonderful musicians with an unusually strong family element. It’s going to be a spectacular and unique festival, and tickets are going to be selling very fast. Don’t miss it!
