The Pop Up season is almost upon us. After hundreds of outreach author visits to schools by all sorts of great names in children’s books (Jane Ray, Chris Mould, Ken Wilson-Max and many others), the actual festivals will soon be upon us.
I had a fabulous couple of days in Essex schools in preparation for Pop Up in Pufleet, hot on the heels of the Shropshire workshops (see HERE).
On the second day, the Pop Up photographer Patrick Boyd was on hand to capture the work of the children, myself, and the amazing Lucy Griffiths (Royal Opera scenic artist) as we recreated great works of art for our Pop Up Gallery. Full details of the festivals can be found by clinking on the EVENTS tab above. Meanwhile here are some of Patrick’s fabulous pictures! To see the results of the children’s work, come along to the festivals. They are all FREE!
