Katie goes to Russia!

Many, many years ago I visited Russia. I had a wonderful time in Moscow and St. Petersburg (Leningrad in those days), with unforgettable trips to operas, ballets, and of course … galleries. And so I am truly thrilled beyond words that the Katie series – after 26 years – are to be published in Russian!

So a big Спасибо (Spasibo – Thankyou) to the Russians for embracing Katie in these gorgeous new hardback editions!

James Mayhew

James is the creator of the much-loved Katie and Ella Bella Ballerina series and has written or illustrated many other books, including Koshka’s Tales, Mouse & Mole (by Joyce Dunbar) and Gaspard the Fox (by Zeb Soanes). Alongside his work in publishing, James performs live on stage during concerts for children, combining live classical music, storytelling and art.
